The US Army Reserve Pacific Division says members of the 793rd Engineering detachment are due to arrive in Honolulu after a year long tour in Iraq .

An Army Reserve spokesman says more than 50 reservists from American Samoa will be part of the contingent that will be heading home this week.

After their official sign in and return of all their gear, they will have 2 to 3 days of relaxation, which some will be spending with relatives in Hawaii.

The reservists will then begin the demobilization period which will involve medical tests, updating their personnel history and financial information

The spokesman couldn't say how long the soldiers would be in Honolulu before returning home.
