A woman in Papua New Guinea has been stabbed to death by another woman in the departure lounge of Mount Hagen airport.
Dozens of passengers were waiting in the small terminal when a Mount Hagen woman accused a woman from another part of the country of having an affair with her husband.
Witnesses say the accuser stabbed the woman to death in the heart and stomach area after walking unnoticed into the terminal.
The attacker's husband then dragged the woman out of the terminal.
The attack comes amid a campaign to boost Mount Hagen's image after last month's killing of an Australian pilot in the town.
