Young Auckland bassoonist Charlotte Naden is off to Europe to continue her studies in two prestigious music programmes.
In July, she'll be taking part in the Berlin Opera Academy Intensive Summer Opera programme (this year relocated to Switzerland).
And from September, Charlotte will be begin a Master's Degree in Orchestral Instruments (Bassoon) at Malmö Academy of Music, Lund University, in Sweden.
Upbeat talked with Charlotte about her future plans, and how she came to choose the bassoon.
