The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra's annual Opera in Concert in 2021 was Beethoven's Fidelio – part of their ongoing celebrations of Beethoven for his 250th anniversary.

The APO’s performances of operas are always semi-staged in the Auckland Town Hall, and for Fidelio they're working with director Jacqueline Coats.

Tim Dodd caught up with Jacqueline to talk about the opera.
