Simeon Broom is well known as a violinist, playing in the string section of the NZSO and also as a soloist and chamber musician both in New Zealand and overseas.
He's also founder and director of the Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival, which is taking place this Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Auckland.
Supported by Eden Arts, the boutique classical music festival in the heart of Mt Eden Village is now in its fifth year. The 2020 festival features some of New Zealand's most well-loved chamber musicians including the New Zealand String Quartet.
David Morriss spoke with Simeon Broom about this year's programme.
