The 2020 Wellington jazz festival was originally scheduled for June, but due to the uncertainty around Covid lockdowns the decision was taken to postpone it till November. Quarantine regulations have meant that the usual roster of international acts, which form the centerpiece of the festival, couldn’t happen- so this year the jazz festival will take on a different look, with a focus on New Zealand musicians.
