The Dunedin Concerto Competition was launched today, providing young classical musicians from Otago and Southland with an opportunity to develop their performing skills.

The competition has come about thanks to support from the Hodgson Towers Family Trust.

Professor John Drummond, Chair of the Competition Organising Committee, talked with Nick Tipping about the competition.

Entries are now open, with applications due by 1 December.
