Having recently moved to Central Otago, violinist and former member of NZTrio Justine Cormack will be bringing Beethoven's violin and piano sonatas to her neighbourhood as a means of celebrating the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth.

She'll be performing the works with US pianist Kate Boyd, who she first played with at Stony Brook University, NY, in the 1990s when the pair were both involved in doctoral studies.

Justine talked with David Morriss about the Beethoven sonata cycle, and about what she's been up to since leaving NZTrio.
