The Rodger Fox Big Band is heading off to the USA in the New Year. The band’s been invited to play a concert at the prestigious Jazz Education Network conference in New Orleans in January, and they’ll follow that up with a trip to New York to record an album of all-New Zealand music.
RNZ's Nick Tipping spoke to his former bandmate Rodger Fox about the trip, and started off by asking what the conference was about.
