The group will be performing in Featherston on the 28th, then Wellington, Napier, Hamilton, Tauranga, Auckland - including the North Shore and Waiheke - Dunedin, Christchurch, and lastly Blenheim on July 13th.
David Morriss caught up recently with violinist Helene Pohl and cellist Rolf Gjelsten, who celebrate their 25th anniversary with the quartet this year.
The two are partners in life, as well as in art; he began by asking them how being married to each other works when they’re also working so closely together in the Quartet.
