Bringing colour to Wanaka

They say that autumn is the best time of year to visit Wanaka and the Southern Lakes, with a panoply of colour from the tree leaves.

And it’s the perfect time for an arts festival.

The Southern Lakes Festival of Colour takes place every two years, and 2019 is a Festival year.

Over the next few days, there’ll be a feast of local and international artistic events, including music, dance, visual arts, theatre and more.

David Morriss chats with festival director Philip Tremewan about bringing colour to Wanaka.
