1pm Todd Gibson-Cornish’s brilliant career

Former NZSO National Youth Orchestra Principal Bassoonist Todd Gibson-Cornish is back as the soloist for The Firebird concerts this week. We continue celebrating 130 years of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Riccardo Chailly (chief conductor from 1988 to 2004) conducts the orchestra in a performance of Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No 1 in C minor.
