1.40pm Interpreting music into NZ Sign Language

To help mark New Zealand Sign Language Week we explore how you interpret music into sign language. Last year interpreter Kelly Hodgins took to the stage to interpret Broadway’s West Side Story at The Civic. She tells Zoë George about the intricacies of interpreting song lyrics, speech, rhythm and melody simultaneously.
