A career on the stage was probably inevitable for Chris Lam Sam – the son of a yodelling carpenter and a piano-playing bank clerk.

Chris is appearing with the NZSO and conductor Hamish McKeich in Wellington on Saturday afternoon for a family concert, A Musical Menagerie – packed full of bumble bees, little pigs, waltzing cats and thieving magpies.
