Review: did CSO celebrate 60 in style?

On Saturday night, the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra celebrated a significant anniversary - 60 years since the orchestra was founded.

Music Director Benjamin Northey conducted the 2018 season opening concert, which included a new commission from Christchurch composer John Young, Bruch’s Violin Concerto no 1, with Natalia Lomeiko as soloist, and Beethoven’s Eroica Symphony.
