For award winning French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, it’s all about making great art. He chooses some of the music that’s influenced him from Beethoven and Ravel, to today’s hot young talent multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier.
Bavouzet will play Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto in tonight’s Season opener with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, live broadcast on RNZ Concert at 8pm and reviewed tomorrow on Upbeat.
