Is classical music really for dinosaurs?

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra starts its first major tour of the country tomorrow with Summer Pops – music from the movies.

Their first gig is at the Michael Fowler Centre and features pieces from Chariots of Fire, Casablanca, Rocky, Back to the Future, Star Wars and Jurassic Park.

Upbeat producer Zoë George and video journalist Richard Tindiller went to the NZSO’s rehearsal with a camera to find out if classical music is really for dinosaurs.

(It turns out classical music is for dinosaurs after all)
