The art of throat singing

One of the oldest forms of music is filling Wellington’s City Gallery this week. Throat singer and improviser Jonny Marks brings his almost meditative style of singing alive with orchestra Stroma for its Spectral Electric concert, which explores a new frontier of soundscapes and technology.

Jonny explains the art of throat singing, why he chose to do it and his road to discovering his unique voice.
