The New Zealand School of Dance is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a number of events and guests. One of them is American dancer Victoria Simon who has been teaching the next generation how to perform George Balanchine. She’s the Ballet Mistress for the Trust that keeps his work alive. She discusses the unique aspects of dancing a Balanchine work as well as her own career as a dancer and choreographer.
