Israeli New Music Stars

One of new music's funkiest ensembles is in the country at the special invitation of the NZ School of Music. They are Ensemble Nikel, electric guitar saxophone percussion and piano, they’re based in Israel with their own subscription series in Haifa and Tel Aviv, and they’re the darlings of all the famous festivals from Ultraschall in Berlin to Bang on a Can in New York and Vienna’s Wien Modern.
