Kiwi poet receives international award

From Upbeat, 1:50 pm on 10 July 2017

Translating English, and other languages into Spanish has been part of Madrid based New Zealand poet Charles Olsen’s creative journey. He’s only learnt Spanish since moving to Spain fourteen years ago. But that didn’t stop him from creating interesting poetic works. He has been awarded POETAS DE OTROS MUNDOS (‘Poets From Other Worlds’) awarded by the Fondo Poético Internacional (‘International Poetry Fund’) for his poetry. He discusses how his passion for flamenco guitar led to a new interest in video poetry.
