2016’s Arts Festival Dunedin includes a broad range of musical performances, from Eastern European cabaret to the Dunedin Symphony Orchestra.
Sitting somewhere between are performances featuring cellist Heleen du Plessis, and pianist and composer Trevor Coleman. Heleen has curated Cellists Aotearoa, a multi-sensory journey into the beauty and soundscape of New Zealand. Heleen also performs alongside Trevor Coleman in Coleman and Cornish’s Improvisations on the Classics - an exploration of the boundaries between classical and jazz music.
