The Kiss Inside is choreographer Douglas Wright's first full-length work since 2011 when 'Rapt' was performed to great acclaim in Auckland and the Netherlands.

The Kiss Inside centres on the human pursuit of ecstasy through sex, drugs, physical exertion, sadomasochism and religion.

Wright explains what it is about choreography that provides so much stimulation.

"It's my way of communicating with the world, and expressing who I am. It's like asking questions,as well, of the world. Questions that I don't know if there are even any answers to, but I think the questions need to be asked."
