On Thursday's Upbeat programme the Pangea Piano Duo discuss their all-NZ music concerts for solo, duet and duo piano.
Taiwanese pianist Ya-Ting Liou and Argentinian Blas González, aim to combine standard piano music with less conventional repertoire for solo, duet and duo.
The concert will take place in the Hunter Council Chamber building, Victoria University of Wellington, on Thursday 26 May, and will feature:
Variations on a Prayer (2010) by Kenneth Young
Three Rhythmics (1987) by Jack Body
Suite No. 2- Four Dances from Electra (1988) by Edwin Carr
Zeal (1992) by John Psathas
Plus, Paul Rosoman discusses the newly restored St Peter's organ in Christchurch and Upbeat's world/pop contributor, Shelley Brunt, joins Eva Radich in the studio.
