Not all music lovers want to come home in the dark.
Which could be why Auckland Live's Morning Melodies daytime concerts have had such staying power.

Monday 23 February will see the first concert of Morning Melodies' 25th season.
The concerts come around once a month on a Monday at 11am in Takapuna's Bruce Mason Centre.
The Morning Melodies series has a philosophy of trying to offer entertainment to people who love live music, but aren't so keen on heading into central Auckland in the evening.
Daniel Clarke, director of Auckland Live, spoke to RNZ Concert (ahead of the gig) about the series' success and some of the highlights of the 2026 season.
The first concert will feature members of NZ Opera.
