Banjo Heaven

From Pick and Mix, 12:05 pm on 12 May 2019

We are in banjo heaven with Béla Fleck and Abigail Washburn and their latest album Echo in the Valley, while the Argentinian band Che Apalache bring Latin rhythms to bluegrass.

We explore Our Fathers’ House the stunning debut album from Welsh chamber-folk trio Vrï.

Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the album Ahlam by NES a trio of classical players with an Arabic Moorish sound world

And we revisit a classic or two from the Dave Brubeck Quartet.
