The Doctor is in the house!
The recording of a 2014 tribute concert to Dr John in New Orleans has just been released ... The Musical Mojo of Dr John: Celebrating Mac and his Music. A two disc set from Concord Records, it features artists including Bruce Springsteen, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint, Mavis Staples, and various Neville Brothers.
William uses it as an excuse to sample some tracks from the Doctor's back-catalogue.
