William Dart celebrates the Shakespeare anniversary year by looking at two recent releases - one from Paul Kelly and one from Rufus Wainwright - with settings of the Bard's sonnets. If that weren't tantalising enough, he also includes some tracks from Duke Ellington, Cleo Laine and Maisey Rika, who gives us a te reo version of "Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer's Day". It was written by Paul McLaney and it featured in a special concert at Auckland's Pop-Up Globe in April 2016, which was recorded by RNZ. A video of that performance here.
