Tchaikovsky's powerful Violin Concerto forms the stunning centerpiece of this live concert recording from the Auckland Philharmonia. Conducted by Shiyeon Sung and featuring a brilliant performance by violinist Chloe Chua, the full concert programme includes Franz von Suppé’s sparkling Morning, Noon and Night in Vienna: Overture, Joseph Haydn's celebrated Symphony No. 93, and Igor Stravinsky's Divertimento from The Fairy’s Kiss, an homage to Tchaikovsky.
