New Zealand pianist Sylvia Jiang returns to the Auckland Philharmonia stage to play Prokofiev's daunting Second Piano Concerto, widely considered one of the most difficult pieces of all to play.
The orchestra plays Rimsky-Korsakov's evocation of the Tales of the Arabian Nights and an intriguing work by Australian composer Melody Eötvös about a mysterious ancient Egyptian artifact.
