Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra - "Ashkenazy and Mullova"
Two superstars of the classical music world join the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra.
One of the brightest of all violin superstars, Viktoria Mullova performs the Violin Concerto by Sibelius.
She has a long history with this concerto. It helped set her on the road to an international career when she won the Sibelius Violin Competition in Helsinki playing it in 1980.
Vladimir Ashkenazy returns to Auckland following a sold-out concert with the orchestra in 2016.
