2018 NZSO National Youth Orchestra Summer Concert

Established in 1959 by John Hopkins, the National Youth Orchestra has been giving talented young musicians the chance to develop their musical skills under the guidance of internationally respected conductors, and to join forces with their peers in a unique, elite environment, for nearly 60 years. Alumni of the NYO have gone on to enjoy remarkable success all over the world, and our own NZSO features a number of former members.
