Superstar Vladimir Ashkenazy conducts the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra for the first time.
On the programme are two Finnish works - by Einojuhani Rautavaara and Jean Sibelius. And they are joined by oboist Gordon Hunt for a performance of Strauss's Oboe Concerto.
