Joined by New Zealand favourites Michael Houstoun (piano) and Ashley Brown (cello), the first three of the top six semi-finalists will perform the complete piano trios of Beethoven.
The chamber music round is a distinctive feature of the Competition and illustrates not only the collaborative skills of the performers, but is a real example of a modern musical career (juggling solo, ensemble and educational presentations).
