Round II 2015 continued
With collaborating pianists Diedre Irons and Sarah Watkins.
The rest of the competitors are tested on their interpretative abilities: NZ composer, Kenneth Young’s new commission, Gone, will be premiered 18 times.
Each will perform very telling Mozart concerti and Romantic era sonatas and will then dazzle with a show-off piece of their choice.
At the conclusion of today's competition the judges announced the six competitors to advance to Round III, to be held in Auckland starting on Wednesday 10 June:
