Building bridges, not walls, the Silk Road Ensemble is a "creative home" for Yo-Yo Ma and his troupe of extraordinarily talented world musicians who first got together in 2000 and have since grown into a "large and messy multi-cultural family." Sing Me Home (Sony 88875181012) is the companion album to the film Music of Strangers currently screening as part of the New Zealand International Film Festival. Not to be missed!
