The duo of Welsh classical harpist Catrin Finch and Senegalese Kora player Seckou Keita deliver a stunning exhibition of world-class musicianship, the mesmerising pair hailed by Songlines magazine as "the most popular world music act of the decade."

Drawing deep on their own diverse traditions and transforming them with remarkable synergy, Catrin and Seckou have built a formidable reputation for their extraordinary performances. Following the success of their debut album Clychau Dibon in 2013, their most recent release Soar, is inspired by the Osprey bird which migrates annually from the west coast of Wales to Senegal, a similar journey to the one Seckou Keita has taken.

Their personal charisma and virtuoso musicianship pulled an attentive audience to the Dell Stage on the opening Friday night of WOMAD 2020 and it proved to be a performance that confirmed their critically acclaimed status.

However, above all else, it is just beautiful music…
