Soaked Oats are a Dunedin based band who describe their brand of infectiously catchy songs as ‘sludge pop’: which refers to the contrast in their sound between idiosyncratic lyrics and relatively simple pop structures, or as lead singer Oscar Mein puts it “sort of like a sparkly surface with heaps of leftovers on it, like your nana's beautiful china plates at the end of Christmas lunch.”

A band with style and personality in spades, Soaked Oats has toured America in a 34-foot motor home, played festivals in the UK and have an ever-expanding fan base in NZ and Australia.

They played two shows at WOMAD 2020 and here you can check them live on the Dell Stage, recorded by RNZ Music.

Song Titles: 'Gum 15', 'Schuggah Doom' (Extended), 'My Mud Your Shoes', 'Avocado Aficianado', 'Apricot Jam', ''Perfect Song', 'Don’t Chew', 'Coming Up', 'Driftworld', 'Houdini'.
