Described as a beguiling outfit that stretches kaleidoscopic sounds into Grammy-nominated masterpieces, Hiatus Coyote wear their psychedelic soul influences firmly on their sleeve.

Fronted by their diminutive but larger than life vocalist Nai Palm, the Australian 4 piece entertained the WOMAD audience with an elegant yet eclectic mix of jazz, funk and electronica for their only appearance on the TSB Bowl stage on the opening Friday night.

Song Titles: Rose Water, Laputa, Chivarly Jam, All The Words, Molasses, Swamp Thing, Breathing Underwater, Borderline, Building, World/Beyonce/Pana, Boom, Cinnamon, The Lung/Naskamarra

Recorded live and produced by William Saunders for RNZ Music
