Under the Bridge was written as part of Josie's Masters of Creative Writing at the University of Auckland. The original story was over 8000 words.
The idea for this story came to me while I was sitting in a sauna after swimming laps at my local pool. The words appeared in my mind from nowhere, and the characters were so clear it was as though I had met them.
