Charlotte Forrester is a writer and musician based in Te-Whangaui-a-Tara. Her writing practice is grounded in experimental essay and poetry, exploring a range of themes from ecology to heartbreak. In 2018 she completed the MA in Creative Writing at the International Institute of Modern Letters.

As a musician, Charlotte has worked on composition for a number of stage plays, as well as focusing energy on her band, Womb. She is the songwriter of the sibling trio. Womb began a three week tour of China on the day Charlotte's story, At the Edge of the World, first aired on RNZ.
