Hobsons' Choices - by David Hill
Award-winning writer David Hill is perhaps best known for his young adult fiction, but his work also includes plays as well as reviews and articles in New Zealand and overseas newspapers journals and magazines.
Last year David Hill’s was recognized by The New Zealand Society of Authors with the title 2020 President of Honour. This prestigious honour is bestowed on a senior writer and long-serving NZSA member in recognition of his or her contribution to writing and writers and to the literary arts sector in New Zealand.
Hobsons' Choices is a brand new 5-part short story series commissioned by RNZ. It focuses on life-changing moments in the life of Alan Hobson as he grows from boyhood to manhood. Each episode is about one such moment.
Alex Greig is a Wellington based actor who has featured in many RNZ productions. His work includes many national theatre tours with The Bacchanals, as well as many major roles in a range of work across Wellington stages.
