Richard Seddon, Premiere of New Zealand 1893-1906

Seddon served for 13 years, 44 days, starting on 1 May 1893. He convinced his colleagues that a leadership vote would split the party, and thus managed to stay leader until his death in June 1906.

Henry Sewell, the first premier, had the shortest term - just 13 days.

The Apollo 11 mission took Armstrong, Aldrin, and Michael Collins (who remained in orbit) to the moon.

All three had to go through US customs when they returned to Earth.

Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story was named after Aldrin. Here they are together.

Humans are born with over 300 bones, although many of these fuse as they mature. The smallest bone is your ear, and is called the stirrup. The largest (and longest) bone is the femur, or thighbone.
