Old No 3 Outpost taken from No 2 Outpost, looking east. Chunuk Bair is on the skyline. This hill was taken by the New Zealand Mounted Rifles on 29 May 1915 and was held for a couple of days and then driven off. It was recaptured again on the night of 6 August 1915 by the New Zealand Mounted Rifles.
