Two people were killed and eight others injured when a double truck crashed into two houses on the Pacific Highway south of Coffs Harbour in New South Wales.
A teenager asleep in his bed was killed instantly. The ABC reports the driver of the truck also died.
The NSW Ambulance Service says eight people were taken to Coffs Harbour hospital. All are in serious but stable conditions.
