President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia has ordered an investigation into a fire that engulfed a nuclear submarine.
The Yekaterinburg was in dry dock at a shipyard in Murmansk on Thursday when wooden scaffolding around it caught fire and spread to the rubber coated outer hull.
Officials said there was no risk as its two reactors had been shut down.
AFP reports the vessel was partially submerged overnight to help contain the fire.
The Yekaterinburg was commissioned in 1985.
