In-flight security restrictions used

The Transportation Security Administration has eased security restrictions on flights bound for the United States.

An initial ban saw passengers having to remain seated in the final hour of travel.

The move followed an attempted terrorist attack on a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit on Christmas Day.

The TSA says it is up to pilots to decide whether passengers are allowed to move around during the last stages of the flight.
