The bodies of all 11 people killed in a house fire south of Brisbane have now been recovered.
Dozens of mourners were there as they were taken from the scene at Slacks Creek in Logan city.
Superintendent Noel Powers said the complexity of the fire had made it a difficult and slow process.
The Pacific Island community held a special prayer gathering at the Logan Metro Sports Centre on Thursday night.
It began with a welcome from an aboriginal elder, followed by a Tongan hymn.
The ABC reports church leaders told the gathering to turn to God in a time of pain and tears.
There was a minute's silence and a message was read out from Prime Minister Julia Gillard, expressing the federal government's condolences.
State Premier Anna Bligh said the tragedy has caused ''fierce and terrible heartache'' and that all Queenslanders were sharing the sorrow and loss.
Faimalo Tau from the Logan Samoan Association said it is a chance for the community to unite in grief.
