The family of Australian cricketing great Sir Donald Bradman says it is happy with a settlement reached on a civil claim centred on the use of the Bradman name.
One of the complaints was that an Australian food company had been licenced to market Bradman chocolate chip cookies in India, ABC reports.
The claim against law firm Allens Arthur Robinson was brought by the executors of the Bradman estate including Sir Donald's son John Bradman.
It alleged Sir Donald's name was exploited when used to endorse some commercial products.
The matter was listed for trial on Tuesday in the South Australia's Supreme Court but the parties notified the court on Wednesday the matter had been settled.
Outside court, John Bradman said the settlement was a relief to the family.
The terms of the settlement are confidential.
