Another Australian soldier has been killed in Afghanistan.
Sergeant Todd Langley, 35, received a gunshot wound to the head during a fire fight with insurgents in southern Afghanistan on Monday.
Another soldier wounded is in a serious but stable condition.
Sergeant Langley was on his fifth tour of Afghanistan, and had also served twice in East Timor, the ABC reports.
He had been awarded two commendations for distinguished service and a unit citation for bravery.
Twenty-eight Australian soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001.
